Gee Thanks, Ginger by -Z- by -Z-

This morning while jorbing, I corrected a foolish accounting disaster, talked to 4 whiny clients, and muddled through phone calls with several asinine medical providers for the aforementioned whiny clients.  Then, the current NSA’s sister tried to friend me on fuckbook.  You don’t friend with NSA’s family members. That’s not right.  I feel sick.

Just when I thought -Z- was gonna have to choke a bitch, the Ginger sent me the above video.  It soothed my frayed and ragey nerves and put a little smile on my face. I love it. And you will, too.

too many outspoken americans are still really, really stupid. ~.m. by maria b.

they can’t handle the U.S. release of a film about Darwin? really? i know it’s not balanced out with a film about creationism or intelligent design, but honestly. it’s not being forced on anyone, you don’t have to see it. so much fist-shaking about Teh Eebul Netchurell Sullekshun and Ebuhlooshun. yikes. oh, right, cuz according to that February Gallup poll, only 39% of Americans believe in evolution. holy shit, indeed.

The Ginger:  ok, so this family of bears is getting divorced, and the judge asks the baby bear
“do you want to go live with your dad?”

me:  i like this already

The Ginger:  and he says “no my dad beats me, i don’t want to live with him”
“well how about living with your mom then?”
“no, she beats me everyday too!”
“well where do you want to live then?”
and the baby bear says “i want to go live in chicago. because the bears there, don’t beat anybody.”

fyi: health care is fucked. ~.m. by maria b.

Rolling Stone‘s Matt Taibbi has a piece published last week that breaks down the timeline of the U.S. government’s half-assed attempt at revamping the healthcare system. it’s depressing in its realism and infuriating in its breakdown of all the turncoat politicians and various other political machinery working against anything of substance actually being accomplished. if you care about health care reform and the U.S. eventually getting a single-payer system, you should read this. (it won’t make your day, but knowing who’s doing what for healthcare is certainly important.)
